So my Dad made the mistake of bringing me back about twenty packets of Hershey Cookies and Creme Kisses, Tootsie Rolls, and cookie dough Pop Tarts. I think I just gained about five stone in the hour since he’s been home!
Blog’s going back into action tomorrow. This weekend/beginning of next week will be me setting up the ‘mainframe’ of the blog, if it were, because I have GCSE’s in a few weeks and it’s just hit me how soon they are. Time is going too fast! But the blog shall be in action, and I have a few surprises coming up for you all :)

Okay, you’re just the nicest thing in the world right now. ANONS ARE RULING MY EVENING, AND I LOVE YOU. Just talk to me! You’ve done a great job with the grey face, the next step is just a click away…! Thank you, thank you, and thank you. Talk to me whenever you want to! =)
Whooo, Puerto Rico! I haven’t been since I was eight, but I loved it when I went :)
Good, good :) Alas, I am only fifteen. I suppose that’s both good or bad.
I am good, thank you! How are you? =)
I’m not going to argue with you on this point. It is an issue with both Disney and Disney parks alike. Racism as always been a heavily debated issue with the company, and not one that I will launch into right now because Tumblr is (and I apologise for saying this) a place where yes, you can voice your opinions, but there will always be some who dislike your opinion and will jump on you for stating it.
I think a lot of the racism associated with Disney does stem from the fact that a lot of its library is spread across the twentieth century, where racism was an ever turning point in society. Disney was established all throughout and has been messed about a lot in terms of the issue. Yes, there are many more white Disney characters, and it should be much more equal than it is nowadays. And yes, Disney parks really do have a tendency of casting white people who simply wear a lot of make up for characters such as Jasmine and Pocahontas, who are supposed to be of Indian and Native American heritage.
Princess and the Frog was Disney’s stand-out step out of it’s associated ‘racist’ territory, and one which I consider to be far later than it should have been. So yes, there is racism in Disney. I don’t want to declare that there isn’t, or say that it’s ‘getting better’ when really it shouldn’t be ‘getting better’: it shouldn’t have to be ‘getting better’, it should be better. But I wouldn’t label Disney as a racist company.
